Company Summary:
The Somtel Human Resource Department is responsible for all Somaliland Human Resources Functions including People Planning, Cultural Change, Performance Reward, and Organizational Capacity Enhancement. The HR assures that the Somtel Policies and Procedures are adhered in such a way that it does not contrast with the local, national, and international labor laws. The department provides the required report and support to the Management and the other department in the organization.
General Position Summary:
Working under the HR manager, the employee performance officer will work on this by developing, executing & communicating appraisals. Identify staff promotions development and training needs. Track career development plans. Support HR Director on function related activities and decisions collaborating across internal depts as approved, report the performance to the HR director.

This position is based in Hargeisa, Somaliland and is unaccompanied. Somtel team members represent the company and Dahabshiil Group both during and outside of work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a visit to a field posting. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and company’s policies, procedures, and values always and in all in-country venues.
