DahabshiilReal Estate, under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer plans to recruit Sales Officerwho support the Head of PR, Sales/Marketing and Manager in driving the overallcompanySales in Mogadishu, Somalia.

General Position Summary:

We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Sales Officers (5) to help us build up our sales teams in Mogadishu and Hargeisa at Dahabshiil Real Estate under the guidance of Head of Marketing and Sales at Dahabshiil Real Estate.Sales Officers responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, market research, building and after sales support. If you have excellent communication and network in Mogadishu. The Sales Officer report to Sales Manager.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

i. Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.

ii. Screening and training agents.

iii. Calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases.

iv. Answering customers' questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.

v. Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.

vi. Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.

vii. Informing the Sales Manager of possible improvements and changes to ensure that company products/services meet current market needs.

viii. Preparing cost-benefit analyses for prospective and existing customers to determine the most suitable purchase options.

ix. Analyzing competitors' products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.

x. Connecting leads through networks and the external consultants to buy property

xi. implement a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues in consultation with the Manager of Sales;

xii. implementing sales scripts with agents and the other sales partners

xiii. Meeting with clients and maintaining client relationships

xiv. Tracking, collecting, and interpreting sales figures and reporting

xv. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

xvi. Conduct him/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Dahabshiil Real Estate and Dahabshiil Group, in no way jeopardize our commercial efforts and brand image;

xvii. Assist in any other task or duty assigned by Supervisor

Requirements and skills

i. Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and Sales, or Management and Business Administration sales specialization from a reputable university, Masters of the same will be added advantage;

ii. Marketing or Sales certification will be added advantage;

iii. 5 years’ experience in capital Real Estate Marketing and sales, With at least 2 years’ experience as Marketing Officer of busy real estate company or heavy projects company;

iv. A self-starter with the ability to work at pace and balancing the need to deliver operational and tactical marketing support, while also developing and executing strategic solutions for complex projects.

v. A business acumen with demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategic projects and ensuring competitive commercial advantage.

vi. Demonstrated ability to forge close business relationships with internal and external stakeholders from operational to executive level

vii. Skilled negotiator with experience of complex negotiations with both external and internal stakeholders.

viii. Good understanding of market drivers effecting category; strong commitment to keeping abreast of trends.

ix. In depth understanding of latest tools for executing marketing and sales strategies.

x. Clear understanding business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks.

xi. Experience of managing or considerable involvement in the delivery of digital marketing and sales

xii. Familiarity and experience with collaborative contracting models

xiii. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

xiv. Fast learner and passion for sales

xv. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Critical Success factors:

Key attributes of a successful candidate include Hands-on experience with CRM, SMART marketing techniques, excellent network in Mogadishu, High cultural awareness, Ability to negotiate support inclosing deals, Ability to provide effective feedback, high performance, good communication and report writing. Good understanding of real estate sales, fluency in English and Somalia languages in both written and verbal.

Environmental Conditions

This position is based in Mogadishu, Somalia and is unaccompanied. This position is eligible for very completive salary package and commission subject to sales. Dahabshiil Real Estate Team members represent the company and Dahabshiil Group both during and outside of work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a visit to a field posting.
